DISTRICT SALES MANAGER - WESTERN UNITED STATES

POSITION SUMMARY
The District Sales Manager (DSM) serves as the primary liaison with existing accounts in the assigned territories of CA, AZ, NV, CO, OR, WA and UT. The DSM is responsible for aggressively identifying, pursuing, and acquiring new opportunities in the assigned areas and fostering those new accounts as well as existing customer relationships. The DSM will be managing accounts, prepare proposals, and utilize corporate tools to meet and exceed sales objectives. Ongoing communication with the sales team on account development, action plans and results are an integral part of the position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Proactively identify and pursue a minimum of 15 high-value business opportunities per month with new or existing clients and secure orders.
• Regularly update and maintain the customer database to maximize revenue potential.
• Provide detailed weekly call reports to include meeting purpose, potential sales revenues, and action plans. Weekly travel to assigned territories.
• Actively participate in tradeshows to showcase products and services.
• Deliver persuasive presentations to customer groups to drive sales revenue.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers of direct customers and distribution channels.
• Stay informed about market trends and technology in the wireless market. Ability to manage wireless corporate accounts within the assigned territories.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit in aggressively seeking out and capitalizing on revenue-generating opportunities.
• Accurately forecast product and customer opportunities using RFST CRM tool.
• Ensure all sales activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Proven experience of selling to Tier 1 MNOs and wireless telecom distribution channels.
• In depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry and network MNO, Government, Utility, transportation, and Mining accounts to include customer and distribution channel contacts/relationships.
• A strong team player with clear communication skills, both written and oral, with an assertive and persuasive demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and demonstrated proactive initiative with a customer service focus and an aggressive revenue-generating mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft computer programs.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory on a weekly basis.
• Previous sales experience required.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, MBA preferred.

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY (EHS) COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY
The EHS Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of company environmental health and safety programs and policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensures compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations.
• Conducts employee training in environment health and safety, emergency response, life safety, industrial hygiene, chemical and ergonomic compliance related activities. Implements safety programs.
• Conducts workplace and environment health and safety inspections and recommends corrective action where occupational aspects and hazards exist. Responsible for monthly Safety Committee meetings and the completion of corrective actions.
• Responds to emergencies and investigates accidents/incidents and recommends corrective action.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree in EHS and 1+ year experience in an EHS role in a manufacturing environment. Previous training in first aid and CPR required. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) licenses a plus.
• Knowledge of federal and state safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and presentation skills and a profound ability to analyze and assess risky situations. Ability to recognize potential health and safety hazards.
• Basic knowledge of common business software including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus

CABLE PRODUCTION OPERATOR

POSITION SUMMARY
The Cable Production Operator will be part of the Cable Manufacturing group, responsible for various duties which may include insulation extrusion, welding/corrugation (Uniwema), jacketing extrusion, and cable testing. The operator will start with one main job function in one of the areas listed above, and through cross training and development will progress to a multifunctional operator.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Process cable raw materials through various cable production operations to create a cable finished good with the use of construction sheets, machine setup sheets, and other process procedures.
• Observe equipment and cable during operation to assure quality production to applicable specifications.
• Operate material handling equipment to move work in process, raw materials, load, and unload payoff and/or take-ups as necessary for aspects related to the process.
• Perform various hand operations necessary to the operation and maintenance of the production equipment and associated tooling.
• Use O.D. tape, micrometer, and vernier caliper to check material periodically during operation and maintain required production records.
• Use electronic testing equipment to evaluate the electrical performance of the cable products.
• Detect faulty operations of equipment and defective material.
• Follow all applicable safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Perform other similar and related duties, operate, or assist in the operation of other department equipment as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Previous machine operation experience is preferred with 2 to 5 years industrial / construction equipment set-up and operation.
• Requires the use of shop mathematics with the application and understanding of complicated specifications, tables, and the use of various precision measuring instruments.
• The use of judgement to plan, perform, and make decisions within the limits of recognized methods and procedures.

CABLE Re-Reeler
POSITION SUMMARY

The Cable Re-Reeler will be a part of the Cable Finish group, responsible for re-reeling bulk cable.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform activities under direction of the shift supervisor.
• Perform a sequence of operations to accomplish timely re-reeling of bulk cable to customer order lengths.
• Convert customer order lengths from feet to meters.
• Locate proper reels in storage area and move to line area using material handling equipment (Forklift, pallet jack or hand truck) as necessary.
• Ability to mount reel and mount take-up reel.
• Perform cable management activities to ensure proper cable coiling onto reels. Monitor cable to take-up reel, hand guiding on take-up as necessary.
• Manage take up reel change outs; cut cable, secure to reel, swap reels.
• Deliver completed reel to next destination.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Requires reading, writing, math (including metric conversions using multiplication and division)
• Solid initiative; requires the use of judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures involving the making of minor decisions
• Experience in forklift operation preferred
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus

• High School Diploma/GED desired
